ANDAKAH PEREMPUAN PERDAMAIAN?

Jika Anda atau teman Anda merasa telah melakukan kegiatan yang terkait dengan pembangunan perdamaian di Aceh, maka daftarkan diri, teman, atau  kenalan Anda, yang dianggap layak dikategorikan sebagai Perempuan Perdamaian, untuk menerima Aceh Peace Award 2008 yang akan diberikan oleh Aceh Peace Resource Center (APRC)-BRA.

APRC adalah lembaga independen yang  membantu implementasi tugas-tugas Badan Reintegrasi–Damai Aceh (BRA), bermaksud memberikan penghargaan sebagai bentuk apresiasi tertinggi kepada mereka yang secara nyata dan berkelanjutan aktif melakukan kerja-kerja pembangunan damai di Aceh, serta memberikan perhatian yang signfikan terhadap pemajuan partisipasi dan peningkatan kesejahteraan perempuan.

Formulir dapat diperoleh dan dikembalikan ke Kantor APRC-BRA, Kompleks Taman Sri Ratu Safiatuddin No. 1, Lampriek - Banda Aceh. Khusus untuk luar Banda Aceh, formulir dapat diperoleh di Kantor-kantor BRA setempat dan dikembalikan ke Kantor APRC-BRA sesuai alamat di atas. Pendaftaran dapat juga  diakses  dengan menghubungi Hotline Aceh Peace Award 2008 di (0651) 755 1604 dan PATIMADORA di (0651) 48973, atau melalui  www.bra-aceh.org.

Batas pengembalian formulir paling lambat tanggal 31 September 2008 cap pos.
Penghargaan Bagi Perempuan Perdamaian (Peacemaker) Aceh, dibagi atas 3 (tiga) kategori, yakni :

Nominator adalah para individu perempuan  yang secara konsisten memperjuangkan dan menjaga serta memajukan perdamaian di Aceh dalam rentang waktu 3 (tiga) dasawarsa terakhir (1978-2008), baik yang bersifat promotif, rehabilitatif, maupun yang bersifat preventif (mencegah perang atau konflik berlanjut). Nominator dapat berdomisili di Aceh, maupun di luar Aceh. 

Peserta akan diseleksi dalam beberapa tahapan oleh dewan juri independen yang memiliki kapabilitas dan berpengalaman di bidangnya. Aceh Peace Award 2008 akan diberikan  kepada 3 (tiga) nominator unggulan dari tiga kategori, pada peringatan Hari Ibu, tanggal 22 Desember 2008.
Keputusan dewan juri bersifat final dan tidak dapat diganggu gugat.

ARE YOU A WOMAN of PEACE?

If you feel that you or your friend have conducted an activity which relates to peace building in Aceh, register yourself or your friend, or your colleague that you think properly can  be categorized as a  Woman of Peace to receive an Aceh Peace Award 2008, which will be given by the Aceh Peace Resource Center (APRC)- BRA.

APRC, an independent organization that assists the implementation of BRA work, is willing to give the award as a term of high appreciation to those who are in reality and sustainability active in conducting peace building work in Aceh and give significant attention to the participation  process and improving women's welfare.

The registraion form can be taken and given back to the APRC-BRA office, Komplek Taman Sri Ratu Safiatuddin No.1, Lampriek – Banda Aceh. Especially for those outside of Banda Aceh, the registration form can be taken to each BRA district office and give back to APRC – BRA office with the address that is mentioned above. Registration also can be accessed through the Hotline Aceh Peace Award 2008 at (0651) 7551604 and PATIMADORA at (0651) 48973, or through www.bra-aceh.org.

The registration form should be submitted by September 31st 2008.
The award for Aceh Women of Peace (Peacemaker) is divided into (3) three categories:

Those nominated should be women who consistently fight for, escort and promote peace in Aceh within the 3 (three) last decades (1978-2008), and should fall into these categories: promoting peace, rehabilitation, or prevention (prevent the war or conflict from continuing). Those nominator can be from Banda Aceh and all other regions of Aceh.

The participants will be selected by the independent jury who has capacity and experience in this area. The Aceh Peace Award 2008 will be given to (3) three people from the three categories on Mother's Day, December 2008. 
The Jury decision is final and can not be disturbed.
